Hi. After I updated super-rss-reader on one of our dev sites yesterday, I keep getting the following debug messages on the page:

Notice: Undefined index: thumbnail_position in /home/site/dev.site/wp-content/plugins/super-rss-reader/includes/widget-admin.php on line 63

Notice: Undefined index: thumbnail_size in /home/site/dev.site/wp-content/plugins/super-rss-reader/includes/widget-admin.php on line 64

If I set define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false); in wp-config.php, the debug messages disappear.

Will the plugin still work, even with these “error” messages?
If not, it is a bug or could it be related to the RSS feed?
I will edit the widget-admin.php file and remove references to these fields.

Thanks in advance for your input ??

    Hi @oyvindsandvik,

Thanks for using Super RSS Reader.
I see the case here. I can handle it in the next version.

For now can you please go to the widgets page and “save” the widget again ? (by simply editing something)

    Thanks,
    Aakash

Thank you for your quick response @vaakash!

We use Elementor on the site, so I had to:
    – open the page in edit mode in Elementor
    – update the feed title in the widget settings
    – save the page in Elementor.

    This removed the error messages.

I cannot see that the RSS feed is updating yet, but as this is on a dev site there could be multiple reasons for that ??

    Kind regards,
    ?yvind
