Undefined index error

    hi I’m getting an error on some pages – “Notice: Undefined index: sidebar_custom_1 in /public_html/website/wp-content/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/sidebar.php on line 521”

    the sidebar displays correctly when targeting a generic post type or another custom post type (e.g. “service” post type created by the theme) but the “team” post type returns the above error (also created by the theme).

    any ideas what the problem may be?

    Thank you for reporting this.

    Does your theme have built-in capability to create new sidebars as well? Or do you have some code like get_sidebar('sidebar_custom_1') in your template?

    I think the problem is that somewhere, a custom sidebar (not created by Content Aware Sidebars) is being called, but it hasn’t been “registered” by the theme.
