  • @gigi13 thanks for the new topic and info. Could you do the following to clear the error:

    1) Download, install and activate this mini plugin
    2) Navigate to the plugins page from the WordPress Dashboard (Plugins > Installed Plugins)
    3) Update/ activate Site Kit

Please let me know if this resolves the issue for you.

Important: Deactivate and delete the mini plugin after use.

@gigi13 quick update that we found the the underlying issue that will be fixed soon. In the meantime, please disregard the instructions above and install and activate this plugin instead for a temporary fix. We’ll follow up when the fix is out which is when you can remove it.

I’m facing the same problem right now. I’m unable to update the plugin even after installing the plugin “Clear OpCache Simple”. Please fix the patch as soon as possible.

@beingtechguy please try the new plugin that is a temporary patch as mentioned in the second follow up reply. It is called “Site Kit Fix Opcache Call (temporary)”. We’ll update the thread when the permanent patch is out/ when you can remove this temporary plugin. We encourage opening a new support topic for support to track your particular case (per forum guidelines).

@gigi13 a fix has been released in version 1.3.1. Once updated, you can remove the temporary plugin. Please let us know if the error resolves for you. Thanks!

Thank you for the quick response to this issue. I updated the Site Kit plugin with version 1.3.1 and still received the same “Call to Undefined Function” error. However, I was able to deactivate and delete the Site Kit plugin then re-install it. No error received so I believe the issue is resolved. It should be fine on future updates.

Side Note: I’m tech savvy, so I understand what you requested with the temporary fixes, however to average WP users linking to the GitHub code page without more installation instructions may be confusing to others. Something to consider.

    Thank You

@gigi13 Thanks for the update. And I will pass on your feedback in relation to the temporary fix, certainly it’s not ideal for the average user so I appreciate your feedback.

Nice troubleshooting also, resetting and deleting the plugin in full.
