Undefined errors on cart and payment pages

The merchant contacted us via our support email. The issue was caused by the merchant having two PayPal plugins active at the same time.

I am getting the same error only when Production Braintree integration is enabled with PayPal (works fine on the sandbox). The only other PayPal payment plug-in I have is the default one and it’s not active. Any ideas?

You would need to have PayPal active for me to observe the issue. On another note, your theme is throwing a JS error which can cause issues:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'top' of undefined

@dlfulle I’m also having this issue. I deactivated all my other plugins but that didn’t work. What steps should i take to figure out my problem?

I didn’t see multiple PayPal plugins enabled but as a sanity check can you make sure you only have one PayPal gateway enabled in the WooCommerce settings?

That is almost always the reason you would get that Cannot read property 'assetsUrl' of undefined notice.

@mrclayton I’m still getting the same problem. is there some sort of reset that needs to be done? i only have the Braintree plugin active for payments.

@tamarico Did you activate your PayPal Business account in the Braintree control panel settings?

@mrclayton I don’t see where it says PayPal Business Account but my Braintree PayPal Gateway is checked as “Enabled”. I’m looking at the PayPal tab from the Braintree settings page.
