Uncontrolled footer expansion in IE

  • I am new to wordpress so I appreciate the help.

    I am developing a site for a friend at:

    Murphyfinancialservices.com

    Safari and FIrefox display the site perfectly. However, in IE the footer is out of control and consumes the entire site. It expands beyond the margin to the right and leaks into the body of the webpage. I’ve tried looking through the CSS and php markups but I don’t really know what I’m supposed to be looking for.

    Any help in this matter would be great. Thanks so much in advance.

  • try to add clear:both to .footer-content in your style.css(around line 627)

    That worked great for containing the footer. However, it is still extending too far to the right? Any suggestions?
