• Goodmorning,

Usually I have around 15 visitors per day on the site (we are expanding). Some days ago we got like 6 visit(or)s from India, with a bounce rate of 100% mostly. I thought this was strange, but didn’t take action.

But last night there was a visitor form the US (we have a site for The Netherlands), who visited almost all pages. It seems he visited 50 pages in total, which is very uncommon. I do not trust this. However, IThemes Security is installed on our site and I tried some security scanners (like Sucuri SiteCheck, Norton Safe Web, WPScans and Google Safe Browsing) and nothing was found.

Could you please tell me if there could be another reason this person visited all my pages (he surely didn’t because he was just interested, my site is in Dutch and does not deliver products outside The Netherlands)? Or is there any other way I could try to find out if my site really is safe?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Some unknown search engine crawler maybe?

    Thank you for your answer!

But if it is an unknown search engine crawler, is it possible that it stays different amount of times on different pages? For example on some pages it was there for around 7 seconds and on other pages around 30 seconds. Is that normal?

First, Wow! Your analytics are really thorough. Maybe a crawler, maybe someone from the Netherlands visiting the U.S. who is a little homesick. Could even be a prank by someone who knows how thorough your analytics is. I would keep an eye on it but not worry about it unless problems crop up. I would make sure I have an up to date site backup – but then I would always do that.
