Unclaimed status in sandbox mode

Hi, Im testing the plugin for the first time. Using sandbox mode I ran through the process, with a fake card number in sandbox mode. There is no record in the “Donations” tab after I complete the process. I dont have SSL setup yet, is that preventing the data from going back? I’m guessing Yes, but wanted to make sure.
