Trying to uncheck “Show ads on” : “Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results” and it’s not working. If I uncheck it, save settings and save settings – it persist as checked. Any idea on how to fix it?

Also (less important, just annoying), before ad loads – the placeholder for it has yellow background, not sure if it’s controlled by plugin or comes from Google as such.

Note that I use custom embedded code, provided by google, since I don’t know in advance the dimensions of the ad and rely on responsive ad behavior.

    Thanks!

Do you use a caching plugin on your site? If so, could you try to deactivate it and let me know if it helps?

    That should help you:

Thanks for the prompt response, it totally make sense, but unfortunately doesn’t work for me. I don’t use any caching plugins (unless WordPress or JetPack do some kind of caching on their own.)

Strange thing is – initially that “Front Page” checkbox was unchecked, I checked it to see how it would look and now cannot get rid of.

Same thing with yellow background, I changed style for the INS element to have white background, but still old style takes over.

Any idea what could be going on? Thanks!

Some caching seems to happen somewhere, that’s blocking you from seeing the updated version. Could you check the value of the jp_mini_ads_strings option in your database, in the wp_options table, with a tool like PHPMyAdmin? Your host should offer such an option in the admin panel.

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

Ok, it looks like modifying style of INS affects desktop theme (where it’s initially gray and I’d like to keep it that way) but yellow in mobile jetpack theme is not affected.

Still having issues with the checkbox, will check the DB when I get a chance. Here’re the sites plugin is running on:

Besides those 2 issues plugin runs amazing

You’ll need to apply that CSS to the mobile theme as well, as explained here:
