We need some assistance with an Console error we are getting on their basket page. ‘Uncaught TypeError: t.addClass(…).block is not a function’

This is stopping users from being able to update product quantities by clicking the ‘Update the basket’ button or delete the product lines.

We have completed a full plugin conflict test on our development site and have detected that the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin is causing this problem when Elementor Pro is enabled. Disabling Elementor Pro enables the ‘Update Basket’ and ‘X’ (Delete product line) to function correctly.
We have contacted Elementor Pro support and they state that are aware of the issue. If you need assistance from them, they stated that you may wish to report this issue by opening an issue on their Github account, and our developers will be happy to assist.

I appreciate your efforts in diagnosing the issue by conducting a full plugin conflict test. As Elementor Pro support is aware of the issue, it would be best to follow their advice and report your findings on their GitHub account. This would allow their developers to assist in resolving this conflict.

We won’t be able to help much as we do not have the knowledge required to assist with third-party products, which are not supported on these forums.

Hope this provides clarity.

Hi Mirko – thank you for your speedy reply. Elementor Pro support recommended that the other 3rd Party Plugin i.e. WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway team reaches out to Elementor’s GitHub and not plugin users. GitHub is usually considered a developer to developer platform.

Elementor Pro is behind a payment wall, so I’m not able to reproduce this, but even then, resolving conflicts with third-party plugins isn’t something we can address generally. I can imagine how it feels being sent from one support team to another.

I noticed the report you opened here hasn’t been reviewed by their team yet. I suggest waiting for their reply, if they determine that the issue can’t be resolved from their end, please let us know so we can move this to our devs. :?)
