    When clicking the ‘Add Gallery’ button when adding/editing a post nothing happens. Checking the browser error console in Chrome says: “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot use ‘in’ operator to search for ‘model’ in envira-selection-sidebar”. In IE it says “Invalid operand to ‘in’: Object expected”.

    I’m not sure when this started, perhaps since v1.5. Other features of Envira seem fine, I can add a gallery and insert the shortcode – just not using the ‘add gallery’ button.

    We running WordPress 4.4.3 and the latest Envira 1.5.0.3

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hey!

    Have you checked for a possible theme/plugin conflict by disabling all other plugins and temporarily reverting to the Twenty-Sixteen theme?

    I just checked this functionality on my own installation with only Envira Gallery Lite plugin activated and running Twenty-Sixteen theme but can’t reproduce.

    Thanks!

    I’m stumped at the moment. Don’t really want to start disabling things just yet on a live site. I have a -near- duplicate of the site with the same plugins and theme versions where the ‘Add Gallery’ button works.

    The duplicate site is on the latest WordPress which my live site isn’t. So at a good time I’ll get the live one updated and see if that has any affect.

    This should be fixed with the latest 1.5.0.4 update. If not, let me know and we will look into it further.

    Hi Thomas,

    I’m afraid the 1.5.0.4 update made no difference to my error. Once updating WordPress to 4.5 the problem goes away however.

    Thanks

    @thomas
    I’m also experiencing this problem and have just purchased your Gold membership.

    Same return from browser and the release is scheduled for this week
    I’m afraid we will have to switch to other solution =/
