Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<' (at (index):1:1)

    Hi.

    I found out that RCB causes this mysterious error message:
    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<' (at (index):1:1)
    This shows in Chrome (dev tools -> console), but not in Firefox’s nor Safari’s dev tools (all on macOS).
    This error also shows in Matomo’s JS error reporting (for Firefox and Safari users).

    My website still works without any noticeable issues. It’s this weird error message that is freaking me out.
    I found out that RCB causes this error by sequentially turning off all plugins on my WP site.

    Is this a known issue?
