    Hi, I just installed your plugin and I’m testing the free version before deciding to buy but after the installation I have been receiving notifications from my “error notification” plugin with the same message.

    I’m using “Fatal error notify” to prevent any errors in my site, and since the installation I got more than 17 emails in less than 24 hours, warning me about the following error. Before uninstall your plugin, I want to know if there is any way to solve this or know why is happening.

    • Error Level: E_ERROR
    • Message:?Uncaught RuntimeException: JForm::getInstance() could not load file [wp-content/plugins/vikrentcar/site/views/docsupload/tmpl/default.xml]. in /wp-content/plugins/vikrentcar/libraries/adapter/form/form.php:106
      Stack trace:
      #0 /wp-content/plugins/vikrentcar/vikrentcar.php(224): JForm::getInstance()
    • Line: 106
    • Request: /wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1712179508.2722589969635009765625
    • Referrer:?unknown

    I can send you the exact message I’m receiving (is a lot longer than this) but I need a private way to send you the data.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this issue. Unfortunately, one of the sample-data packages was creating a Shortcode for an invalid page of VikRentCar. This is why you got that PHP Fatal Error, which is caused by a PHP Exception thrown by the libraries of our plugin.

    Fixing the issue is quite simple and fast. All you need to do is deleting the Shortcode of type “Order Details” because it’s actually pointing to a page for uploading the driver documents, which cannot be linked to a Shortcode.

    You can access the list of Shortcodes by clicking the apposite toolbar button in the Dashboard page of VikRentCar in the wp-admin section of your website. Once you’ve found the Shortcode of type “Order Details”, make sure to delete it and to re-create it by choosing again the same type “Order Details”. This will create the correct page type and no more errors will occur.

    We apologize for the inconvenient, and we confirm installing the sample data for VikRentCar will no longer cause those errors.

    The VikWP Team
