    Hello Support,
I have been troubleshooting your plugin for a while and have reached a point I cannot seem to pass. I have gotten most of the conflicts I could find in getting the player to work except this last one. Selecting any file results in the audio showing loading for a while and then stopping. Developer tools show the error Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Failed to load because no supported source was found. This appears only after the file fails to load, not before. I also went “Incognito” and got the same error occurring.

I have a similar problem on another site using the plugin, https://gmc-mca.org/word-for-jamaica/” but on this other site it is very intermittent. Sometimes it fails and other times it works. I cannot pin down the cause of the failure.

Do you have any suggestions where else to check to fix this?

    Hi there,

I think there is some ajax related issues on the website. Is Ajax calls blocked on your website? Also, please do the following,

    1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Podcast Player > Settings.
    2. Disable “Minimize unintentional exposure of podcast data” on the website.
    3. Clear cache and check again.

Also, please check if you are able to load new episodes using the load more button at the bottom.

Inform me for more help on the issue.

    Thanks,

Good call. The episodes load normally on the-mcaj.org once I disabled #2 above. However, on both sites I do not have the load more button showing. Not sure what is interfering there. On the gmc website I can access the audio for the episodes without disabling #2. As for the Ajax calls, I am not sure if they are blocked. I do not recall seeing any settings that covers that in any of my plugins. I will recheck my security plugin “WordFence”. It may be blocked there.

Does it matter if I leave #2 disabled?

    Hi there,

    1. The #2 is only for private podcasts. For normal podcasts, it doesn’t matter. So it should be fine to keep it disabled.
    2. We have to further investigate the issue. Please install Query Monitor plugin on your website. We should be able to investigate any error with it.

Inform me for more help or explanation.

    Thanks,

    Query monitor now installed.

    Item #2 will remain disabled.

    Hi there,

I tested the website. However, all ajax requests are getting timed out without making any other error. You can uninstall the query monitor.

We have to do some hit and trial. Can you please temporarily deactivate wordfence for time being and check if load more is working?

If not, please contact me on [email protected]. I might need temporary backend access to try resolve the issue.

    Thanks,

    Hi @vedathemes,

I am going to mark this as resolved for now as the original problem got fixed. I am having some issues with another plugin and it may be contributing to this. When I get that sorted out, if my “Load More” is still missing I will open a new ticket.
