I try to use Yoast Duplicate Post directly from PHP (for my custom post types)
meaning my users could copy a post using a (custom) button in the front-end.

I’m trying to to use the duplicate_post_create_duplicate() from various PHP snippets but get an Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method duplicate_post_create_duplicate.

Isn’t this function automatically available after installing Yoast Duplicate Post?

    Hi @jalsed

You mentioned that you are trying to use a filter to implement Yoast Duplicate Post with a custom button in the front-end for your custom post type.

Unfortunately, we can’t provide assistance on specific custom code for your website, as it is outside our scope of support. However, we would like to point you to our developer documentation, and you can check if you are implementing it correctly – https://developer.yoast.com/duplicate-post/overview/

Sorry, we can’t be of more help here. We’ll be leaving this forum thread open for a time, so other users and readers monitoring the forums who might have some ideas, can provide input and suggestions.
