• Hi team,

I have the following plugins installed:
    – Uncanny Codes
    – Uncanny Groups
    – WPForms

When creating a new register form (using WPForms) it’s displayed two Uncanny fields, one of then is labeled “Uncanny Code” (just like [1]) and the other one is “Uncanny Key”. Both fields seems to have the same feature, but even when adding ONLY one of them and saving the page, the preview shows two input fields to enter the enroll code.

Looking at the code, the “Uncanny Groups” plugin is the one that adds the “Uncanny Key” field, and the “Uncanny Codes” plugin adds the “Uncanny Key” field.

Would there fields be the same? Adding one of them resulting on two fields is a reproducible bug?

    Cheers,
    Maycon`

    Err,

The “Uncanny Codes” plugin adds the “Uncanny Code” field, and the “Uncanny Groups” plugin adds the “Uncanny Key” field.

Is there a way to disable the “Uncanny Groups” field feature?

Hi @prideacademy , you’re correct with all assumptions here. The Uncanny Code field is linked to redemption of codes generated by the Uncanny Codes plugin, Uncanny Key fields are for enrollment keys linked to Uncanny Groups.

If both plugins are active, you will unfortunately see both field types, there is no way to disable them if you use both plugins. I know this is confusing though, especially if you only use one or the other. I’ll see if I can get our team to add a filter in an upcoming release to make the field easier to hide if you don’t want it.

    Hi team,

    Thank you for the reply.

But I think that adding ONE of them resulting on TWO input fields is a bug. Or I am wrong?

I’m confused now. ?? Those fields aren’t added to your forms automatically, they must be added manually. You should see both available on the left side of the form builder, but adding one to your form definitely should not add 2 fields. So as an example, if you add an Uncanny Code field to your form, it’s adding an Uncanny Key field too?

If that is happening, it’s definitely an issue and we’ll investigate on our side.
