Uncanny Automator is not performing actions

    Hello,?

    I am setting up UA following the indications in the video (https://automatorplugin.com/knowledge-base/creating-a-recipe/?utm_source=uncanny_automator&utm_medium=publish_metabox&utm_content=recipe_type_question_icon) but it is not working –?

    Instead of LearnDash I am using Restrict User Access plugin (a membership plugin) to sell restrict content? with the free Woocommerce plugin. selling Simple Product / Virtual??

    I offer a good number of pages each of them with specific?restrict content, and each of them with specific Profile (or user)

    These contents are supposed to be available to the client after purchase, Buyer should access content with his login credentials received by email.??

    None of this is working . User is not created and no email is sent by UA

    My Uncanny Automator recipe is set as follows:

    TRIGGER:?wOOCOMMERCE: A client purchases a virtual product with Woocommerce (Product ID is selected from the list retrieved by Uncanny Automator)

    1) ACTION: WordPress create a user id with login credentials and email them to client?.
    Profile is selected from the list retrieved by UA

    2) ACTION: WordPress Send a welcome email to client with login instructions
    ACTION Redirected client to the corresponding site belonging to that specific content he purchased.?

    The recipe is set from Draft to ACTIVE in green in all its steps. Also, it is set to Active in light blue at the right hand of the screen?-Because I am testing, it is still set to “Unlimited” – The recipe has its own title and it is shown in: Draft/Automator/Recipes. Everything here is ticked in Green showing it is “Live”

    Specifically for your checking: the recipe settings are:

    3) ACTION:?WordPress /create user

    User′s name:User′s user name
    Email: user′s email
    Name: user′s name
    WebWebsite name
    Passwordleft blank
    Profile: the profile that shows up in the auto-generated list
    Send email to user with accout details is ENABLED
    Meta: left blank
    Redirect when all triggers are completed set to ENABLED and I completedwith the corresponding url to redirect client after purchase

    In order to avoid any possible plugin conflict I have tried both enable and then disabling every Woocommerce setting for ACCOUNTS AND PRIVACY and also enabling and disabling Woocommerce EMAIL sent to customer?(with login credentials ) after purchase complete.

    While UA does recognize and retrieve data (as Product ID, or Profile name for me to select from the list that which corresponds), unfortunately?the rest remains undone.

    UA does not respond in any way to the recipe.?Absolutely nothing seems?to be working . No User is created and no email is sent

    I hope you can help me fix this error and be able to have this wonderful UA WP plugin working in my website too.

    Just for your reference, I am transcribing below the Woocommerce settings? above mentioned.

    Allow customers to place orders without an account: DISABLED and ENABLED
    Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout??DISABLED and ENABLED

    ALL 4 FOLLOWING CONDITIONALS have been ENABLED and DISABLED?

    Allow customers to create an account during checkout?DISABLED and ENABLEDAllow customers to create an account on the?My account?page?DISABLED and ENABLEDAutomatically generate username from customer email?–??DISABLED and ENABLEDAutomatically generate customer password?DISABLED and ENABLED

    Hi @aflorarte ,

    We did reply to the ticket you sent yesterday afternoon and our reply showed as viewed, but we didn’t receive a reply to it and the questions we asked. In particular, it would really help to see screenshots of the recipe, whether or not the user is signed in at the time of purchase, and whether multiple sites are involved (since you mention “corresponding site”; seeing recipes you’re connecting on related sites with webhooks would really help). Here’s the original reply for reference:

    Sorry, do you mean a user buys a product as a guest on one site and you’re trying to create them on another site? Are you using Automator Pro?

    It would definitely help if you can send a screenshot of the recipe (on both sites if there is a secondary site, you would need to use webhooks to connect them). Can you also confirm whether users are signed in or out when they make the purchase?

    Answering your questions:

    I don′t use webhooks

    I am using UA free verision

    Yes, the user has already an account BUT I would like to offer the possibility of buying more than one page. Also, to offer the possibility of making a first purchase with or without an account.

    So “yes” multiple sites are involved, each site would retrieve a corresponding role.

    What I see is that while creating user, Automator options are “Create Profile” and NOT create “Role” . May this be the problem??
    Sorry as I don′t fully understand the difference between Profile and Role and the confusion arises because UA recognizes them all. Also, I have set up different membership levels with the help of MemberPress WP plugin and have most of these membership levels have identical title/name as Profile.

    I have screenshots to show you the recipe, please let me know where can I send them for your checking

    That’s really strange, we have sent 2 replies to tickets to the gmail address provided and the message yesterday shows as read at 3:53 PM Eastern time. Maybe there was somehow a typo in the address? Sending screenshots to [email protected] is the preferred option for us to review things.

    Please note though that to connect multiple WordPress sites together, and to create users, you must be using the Pro version. The free version cannot support those functions. So, if you’re passing data between sites, you must use webhook triggers and actions, that’s the only way to do it.
