Every image uploaded using Media Library Folders shows up in my media library as “unattached” even though all images are in fact included in the product gallery of individual products. In other words, all images are in a product gallery but the media library says they are unattached. This only happens with images uploaded using Media Library Folders. Please see the attached screenshot. I’m guessing this is a bug, can you please help?

You must be using Wooocommerce. I tested uploading and adding an image to the product gallery through the product page and then checked the Media Library and it shows ‘attached’. I removed that image from the product gallery, updated the product and checked the media library, and it still shows ‘attached’. I added an existing image uploaded via Media Library Folders to the gallery and updated the product and on the Media Library page is shows ‘unattached’. Then I uploaded an image directly to the Media Library, not Media Library Folders, added it to the product gallery, updated the product and checked the Media Library page where it shows the image as ‘unattached’. Thus, the behavior of the product gallery is consistently not updating attached status of images not upload through the product page. Only an image uploaded while editing a product gets labeled as attached.

If you feel that all images added to the product gallery should have the attached status, then talk to Woocommerece technical support, who would be the ones to add the code to do this.
