I’m using user moderation on BP Registration Options, and it sends an email out and notifies the user that their registration is pending. However, if that pending user tries to log in, it lets them, yet still shows as pending in the dashboard. Their user type is the default for the site and not pending. You can give it a try at our site above.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    The BenchPresser

We don’t prevent them from being able to log in and click through to their activation code, and by design of the plugin, they should be able to access the site as a whole. However, what we do enforce is the inability to interact with the BuddyPress/bbPress components of the site, depending on the protection level setting chosen. If they just need to be moderated, they can see a read-only version of BP/bbP areas, and if you have “private network” set, then they’re forced to just their own profile area for BP/bbP areas.

If you had an ecommerce shop, or standard blog area, etc, they’d still be able to fully interact there.

Hope that clears up confusion but feel free to ask some more questions, as needed.
