Unapproved Icon Change

A minor request, everyone I show this to freaks out with the big red x next to the entry. Many times I have to say, its OK its just approval..not delete.
But, I understand the concern as the next red X won’t be so kind. Anyway to change it, say to grey check mark to green check mark?

This is timely because I’ve just encountered the same issue with a web site manager. Have to explain everything is fine and to ignore it. It does look rather scary.
I was not able to find a simple way to hide the entire column in the Entries page to avoid confusion and because directory approvals do not apply to most of our forms. I have not tried it yet but it seems the Admin Columns plugin may help.
Would love a quick way to show/hide that column on the View Entries page.
