    Hi @qdhd99,

I’m sorry to hear about it. Please note this is not the normal behavior for the Post Notifications and our dev team can confirm this bug was introduced in the v. 3.99.0 release.

We’re working on a fix and will release it within the next 24 hours. Thank you for your patience with this, and we apologize for the inconvenience!

Meanwhile, if you need to send a new Post Notification email today, please roll back to the previous version 3.98.0.

To do it, please deleted both free and Premium plugins (if you have a paid subscription) and re-install them from scratch.

To re-install the free plugin, go to wp-admin > Plugins > search for the MailPoet plugin and install it.

If you can wait for the fix, please disable your Post Notification emails for now by temporarily deactivating them.

Again, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

    Hi @qdhd99,

Just to let you know that we released a fix for the Post Notification issue in version 3.99.1 of the plugin.

Please update to the latest version if you haven’t already, and check to make sure it has resolved the issue for you as well.

Thank you Bruna a11n. I have updated the plugin. But as the issue keeps happening (not good and unprofessional to our subscribers), I have opted to compile the posts and send out the newsletter manually. Thanks again for your help.

    Hey @qdhd99,

I can confirm it is expected that the first email after the upgrade may still be problematic, as the database which stores whether a post has been sent is out of sync.

However, it should get in sync with the next emails, this should not happen anymore. Can you please let us know if the problem persists?

    @bruberries,

Following the two occurrences of sending out previous posts, we stopped using automatic post notification and have opted to compile our daily posts manually and sent them out either manually or on schedule.

We did have a problem with yesterday’s newsletter with the scheduling. We always use “visitors to the website” for Newsletter task scheduler (cron) and have not had any problem. It did not work. The schedule was shown in orange but disappeared after the scheduled time. We had to send the newsletter manually. We have changed the setting to recommended “WordPress built-in cron” and hope it will work for our future scheduled newsletters.

    Hi @qdhd99,

Can you please confirm all the problems are still happening in the latest version of the plugin?

If so, we would need to troubleshoot it further. Please let us know.

    Bruna a11n (@bruberries),

It was not working (with WP cron) yesterday as it had issues with sending.

It worked today (with web visitor as trigger).
