Unable to write to directory %s. Is this directory writable by the server?

    I am getting the message “Unable to write to directory %s. Is this directory writable by the server? Your application could not be processed.” According to a prior post changing the permissions on the uploads folder and it’s sub folders to 777 should resolve the issue. I have made this change but still cannot submit a resume.

    How can this be resolved?

    Hello wexfordit,

    It’s server permission issue and not related to Job Board. Please talk to your server administrator to change the permissions of WP upload directory sub folders.

    I contacted the webhosting company, Bluehost, they could not find any thing wrong with the permissions. The upload directory and all subfolders have permission level of 777. I can upload images and use other contact forms with uploads without an issue.

    If this can’t be resolved, is there a way to disable the form? If so I’ll just put a different contact form at the bottom.
