When attempting to enable/disable a particular script in the plugin, you are given a drop-down menu of all available scripts. So if you’re looking for a particular JavaScript, for example, if that script has a longer file name or more specifically a longer file path, you are unable to see the full file name as there are no sliders within that drop-down menu to allow you to see more. You are able to scroll down the page but not from left to right to view those longer file names. This means you’re unable to see what you are selecting and therefore are unable to select anything or optimize your site further. If you do randomly click on an item from the drop-down list and click confirm, you’ll be taken to the front of the menu that just lists the number of scripts chosen. If you click on those you’re never able to see the full file name or path and so you remain clueless as to what you’ve selected.

This happens in Windows in all browsers as well as on mobile devices such as iPads or iPhones. See Example:

I noticed this post is mark resolved which I find odd because there hasn’t been a single update. It’s been a month, this is an ongoing issue that still isn’t fixed or addressed. Perhaps we have a different definition of “resolved”

    Hello @thesoz,

I would like to clarify that our developers are still working on the applying of the needed changes. We can not provide you with ETA, so you can follow the plugin’s changelog for additional information.

    Regards,

The most recent update, posted today, has not fixed the issue. Sadly, I’ve waited a month, since reporting the problem here and still don’t have a solution.

I’m not sure how you expect people to use your products if you can’t even build in basic functionality. Then when reported, here and on SG itself, the user gets dismissed.

    Very disappointed.

    Hello @thesoz,

Our developers are working on applying the required modifications, however I am afraid there’s still no ETA available. I do understand your point of view and I can assure you the reported behaviour will be addressed in a future release.

We appreciate your feedback and your patience on the matter.

I’m writing yet again because you have failed to address this issue and you keep blowing me off with excuses. Furthermore, you continue to mark this issue as RESOLVED acting like you’ve actually done something when you haven’t done anything at all.

I complained about this when I first started hosting with you, then months later started complaining since speaking with SG support offered no results.

It’s been months and you’ve done NOTHING!! My problem isn’t fixed and you continue to lie to your customers and act like you’ve resolved this issue and you haven’t.

Why should I keep paying for OVERPRICED hosting if you can’t even provide a product that works correctly.

Let me be blunt…it’s a damn slider…it’s not that freakin difficult. Should take mere minutes to code. Hell, I’d do it myself if I could yet you’ve brushed me off for months with your pitiful excuses.

I’ve had enough! STOP LYING TO PEOPLE!!

    Hello @thesoz,

I completely understand the situation and your frustration. There is a good reason why this issue is not yet resolved and that we are releasing other fixes before it.

As you have contacted us multiple times and as noted – there are still no changes in the way the plugin exclude lists are provided to all users, I would like to provide more details why.

The dropdown element discussed in this thread is a complex element part of SiteGround style guide. It is used not only in our plugins, but in other internal systems as well. Thus having such a complex element refactored will not be as simple a task as it looks like. Our designers and front-end developers will make sure to complete this the best way possible, and find a solution which will work best not only for the plugins but for all systems using it as well.

Still I can not provide an ETA when it will be released, I would like to assure you that we are not lying and we already have a task opened for this on the same day you have started this thread.

    Best Regards,
