I have installed both the WordPress and Magento plugins on our site, but am getting the following error:
“Unable to verify the Magento module installation. Make sure to Flush Magento Cache!”

I have flushed our Magento Cache and looked around the forums.

    Our site is: https://beprepared.com/blog/

    Please help!

    Thanks,

    Hi @erikschollenberger,

If the Magento extension was correctly installed, the following URL should work:

    https://beprepared.com/wordpress/plugin/verify/code/1234

However, it seems that it returns 404 not found.

Verify in System -> Configuration -> Advanced -> Advanced. Do you see the extension WordPress?

    Hello, @santerref,

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    I see the following extension:

Beeweb_Wordpressproducts. Is this correct? Did I install the wrong folder from your plugin into my /app folder?

    Thanks again!

Do you flush or clean the cache?

You should Flush Cache Storage not only Flush Magento Cache.

I had not flushed the Cache Storage, but that is done now in Magento. I am still getting the same error.

Is there anything else I may have missed on install?

    Thanks!

    Hi @erikschollenberger,

The issue is that you have a wordpress folder in your magento root folder !

    The 404 returned is not the magento 404 it’s a wordpress 404 !

Remove or move the folder and it should work.

    Hello, @santerref,

That makes sense. We inherited this site, and I am not certain how the wordpress site is tied to our Magento site. I will do some digging to see if I can remove/move the wordpress folder without affecting any of our wordpress installation.

Thanks for your help. I will update the status of this topic to resolved.

    Thanks!
