My company and I are currently trying to set up and use your plugin, the Next Active Directory Ingeration. When we set up, we enter everthing correctly according to the our system but it is still unable to verify credentials. It tells us that we are missing something within the Base DN. We are not sure what we are missing nor what do we need to use this tool. We tried looking up the error report in php loggin files and the apache files and seem to find nothing. What else are we missing for the BASE DN?????

  • Hi shadynicnack,

the plugin stores debug information in wp-content/plugins/next-active-directory-integration/log.debug. You can send me an email with debug.log to [email protected]. I will see what I can do.

My test user in my test AD has the distinguishedName CN=Karl Klammer,DC=test,DC=ad and the userPrincipalName [email protected].

With DC=test,DC=ad as Base DN the “Test authentication” tool works for user [email protected].

Does your password contains special character like ‘ or \ ?

If yes, then I found your bug (https://github.com/NeosIT/active-directory-integration2/issues/20) and I will upload the fix version as soon as possible.
