I just installed Trusona on a new website. Trying to login with Trusona generates the confirmation dialogue on my phone, but the website redirets “You haven’t been authorized to access this WordPress site. Contact the admin for access“.

    *I* am the admin.

    How do I resolve this?

    Hi Babak,

You would see that error when the email(s) you registered within the Trusona mobile App, do not match the email the Admin has on that target WordPress site.

As a reminder, when you install the plugin, there’s a 30 second prompt that the user is shown what the plugin believes is their email address and asks then to register with that in the Trusona app. Hopefully, that will tell us the email ID that the plugin is expecting for that website.

    Hope this helps, thanks,

Thanks. But I don’t think I follow. I have four emails registered in the app, and one of them is associated with the account I try to log in with. I get a notification on my phone asking if I want to login, and when I respond affirmatively, the login redirects me back to my site, but then shows the error message.

    Hello Babak,

Will you confirm that at least one email address in the Trusona app matches your email address in your WordPress site account? The emails have to match exactly including upper-case and lower-case characters.

    Confirmed.

But… I just tried logging in with Trusona again, and now it’s working fine :/

    Ok.

    Glad that it’s now working!
