unable to use attributes or any TinyMCE array option

    styles and attributes being passed to tinyMCE as an array, however they are being character escaped by WordPress.
    for example I cannot enter {ID: “myID”} into attributes as blackslashes are added automatically.

    any ideas or solutions?
