Unable to upload particular files to media library

  • Hello all.

    I would really really appreciate some help with this, we have a Woocommerce pre-order album coming out tomorrow at 12 noon, but for some reason, I’m not able to upload the files to the wordpress media library.

    When I go upload it, the file uploads, but is creating TWO files, both of which don’t work. One of the uploads is nearly the correct size of the actual file I’m uploading, the other is like 455kb… and the second one is named the actual file name, with -1 on the end… So I’m really confused.

    The file I’m trying to upload is a .zip file, the contents of which are .aiff files (it’s an album). But it seems I’m able to upload other, different files… so I have no idea why this would be happening…

    Any leads would be immensely helpful!!

  • Zip files are not supported media types.
    You can upload via ftp and create links to the files.
    Create a folder in wp-content
    upload zip files.
    url = /wp-content/foldername/filename.zip
