    Hi,

When I logged in as an admin and tried to send a post submission form, everything works smoothly.

However, when I log in as a customer and attempt to upload media content, I encounter an error message stating, “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

Also Customer role users can view all the images in my media library, Is there any way to disable that and view only the image that are uploaded by current logged in user?

Glad to help. I am not able to repeat this issue on default WordPress. If you can provide basic steps to repeat on default WordPress, it will enable me to follow along and investigate asap.

    Hi Jeff,

It may be because of other settings in my WP or it might be a theme issue. If you provide your email I can share you the admin access, so you can easily check. Is that okay?

    Ohh okay, No issues.
Any idea why this is happening. As this issue is only happening with customer accounts, is it due to any permission issues?

Any heads up to troubleshoot will be great.

It’s not something I recall ever being reported before. WordPress sites tend to vary greatly in terms of plugins and themes. Best advice is to do some basic troubleshooting, to find out which if any plugin/theme is causing problems. Here is a troubleshooting guide that explain two ways of going about it. Additionally you might try a test with just Subscriber role, to see if they are able to post normally.
