Unable to Upload Images
-
I’ve been using the NextGEN Gallery plugin since 2012. Since then, I’ve uploaded nearly 7k images to my website without any issue. It’s consistently worked. It’s been great; I love it!
The most recent set of images that was uploaded successfully occurred on August 15 –
nearly two weeks ago. In terms of technology, nothing’s changed since then.Today, I go to upload a small batch of images (6 files) and the upload bar gets to 100% then freezes for several minutes only to result in a notice in the upper right corner “Upload Complete” but without the typical link to the gallery. I manually check to see if the image was uploaded and it wasn’t. I’ve made this attempt several times with the same results.
Important info:
My file dimensions never exceed 800w x 600h.
File sizes are around 600k on average.
All filenames are only alphanumeric (no special characters), all lowercase and with hyphens filling in spaces.
I still have plenty of room on my server.
I will NOT change my permissions to 777.
I will NOT change my permalink structure.
I’ve checked the directory path in “Other Options” and it corresponds with FTP.
I don’t use or have installed Adobe Flash.
I operate on the Mac OSX.I only run two plugins:
NextGEN Gallery
WP NextGen Gallery Search ProStuff I’ve tried without any success:
I’ve disabled the NG Gallery plugin, activated it, then attempted an upload – Failed
I’ve disabled the Search Pro plugin, then attempted an upload – Failed
I’ve switched to another theme, then attempted an upload – Failed
I’ve cleared browser cache and full history, restarted browser, then attempted an upload – Failed
I’ve cleared browser cache and full history, then implemented each of the first three arrangements – Failed
I’ve tried the above with different browsers (my default is Chrome) – FailedAny ideas?
