Unable to upload images

  • I have tried to upload images through the upload media button but it just keeps giving me the following error message: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2016/01/15-5667-post. I am a beginner and would appreciate any advice!

    I would first check my WP folder permissions. It is possible the “wp-content/uploads” directory has the wrong folder permission.

    Great! How do I check the my WP folder permissions? I really don’t understand this, so sorry to be an inconvenience.

    check using FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required)
