unable to upload images

  • I’ve created a website using the Sela theme and it seems that am unable to upload images to my media library. It has been working fine until last night when I accidentally deleted an image, I went to upload the same image from my computer but just get a placeholder. I put in a temporary image on the front page until I can fix this. My website is https://www.businessofcolor.com Thanks!

  • Hi Teresa, nothing in Sela should prevent you from uploading images, that sounds like either a core WordPress issue or a plugin issue.

    To rule out a plugin issue, try deactivating all your plugins. If the problem goes away, reactivate them one-by-one to find the culprit.

    If that has no effect, I would suggest a manual reinstall of WordPress, being careful to back up everything first. If you need help with that, feel free to post in the Troubleshooting forum:
