unable to upload bue username

  • I cannot upload files with WP due i login as admin, and the directory o is woned bij another username.
    How can i upload, but can i still use my default inlog account, the admin account that made Wp for me?

    Can i change the owner of an dir op via FTP?

    If you are admin you can change settings. You might want to check the settings while you are admin to see if uploads are even allowed by users. You can upload via FTP too..

    Okay, sounds logical. That’s what i though also first, but i cannot edit usersettings.
    I have 2 users, the admin and another, Both are located in the userlist as Authors and both are level 10 users, so not as Registered Users whitch i can edit and give permissions.

    You should be able to edit From the admin account… nothing can change admin settings.. only admin.. but admin can change everyting
