Unable to Update Wordfence Security to version 6.2.6

    Trying to update from 6.2.5 to 6.2.6 of Wordfence Security. I get the following error:
    The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. lib/.htaccess.bak, tmp/.htaccess.bak

    Those files have the correct permissions that I can see.

    Hi,
    Please connect to your website via FTP (using FileZilla for example) and delete these two files (wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/.htaccess.bak) and (wp-content/plugins/wordfence/tmp/.htaccess.bak) then re-try updating the plugin again.
