Hi, after the release of the new update, it seems like I’m unable to update my website. When I try to update, WordPress goes to maintenance mode and never comes back. I have to manually remove the .maintenance file.

What can be causing this issue? Last version (8.6) I didn’t have any issues and not much has changed with the website that can effect WooCommerce

Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like you are experiencing issues updating WooCommerce to its latest version, as it places your site in maintenance mode, correct?

There are times that an update can be disrupted and cause your site to be stuck in ‘maintenance mode’ and based on the cURL 28 error you’ve shared, it’s possible that a firewall or security plugin may be blocking or limiting the connection, causing the update to time out and trigger maintenance mode.

As a first step, can you temporarily deactivate all security plugins and see if you are able to update WooCommerce successfully?

If the issue persists, please can you share the following with us here:

System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
Fatal Error log:?Share a copy of any fatal error log found under?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Logs.

Hi, so I found out some info about my issue. cURL 28 It looks like it might be a firewall issue. Does WooCommerce have a dedicated IP for updates it’s that I might need to allow through my firewall?
