unable to update via wordpress dashboard

  • I set up a sub-domain for my website and shortly after uopdated to wordpress 4.4.1. However, I’ve been unable to make updates. Saving menus, updating widgets, adding pages, adding products via woocommerce, updating products have become near impossible.

    Changes appear only after repeated efforts(over 1 – 2 hours). Once the save or publish button is clicked, I receive ‘connection was reset’, ‘ connection was interrupted’ or ‘page not found’ error.

    I have contacted my webhost and they assure me there’s no problem at their end. Any idea what’s going on?

    It’s been 20 hours since I filed this support request and still no reply. I also left a report with my webhost and have received no reply.

    The only thing worse than the persisting nature of this problem is the silence I’m getting from all corners.

    Please, I need to know what is wrong. Whenever I click the save or publish button, my browsers (CHROME, FIREFOX, OPERA) return either of the following errors:

    -‘Page not found’
    -‘Connection interrupted’
    -‘connection reset’

    HELP!!!!!
