Unable to update to latest wordpress / plugins

    Hello, the past week i noticed two sites on my hosting have not been showing any notifications for updates. I currently have a notification asking me to update wordpress to 6.1.1 but the update button is missing from the dashboard and i have no idea why or how to fix it.

    Could anyone help?

    Disable the Astra Starter Templates plugin. Update plugins, especially the Astra one. Re-enable that plugin.

    Hello @sterndata , which plugins are they? I cannot see any by that name or author, do you have any other way of describing them?

    Hello @sterndata, i dont actually see any plugin with that name. The two i am using for page building / templates are –

    I am now seeing signs of the site being hacked such as lots of new users showing and lots of draft posts that i did not make myself.

    OK, so that’s not the problem. ?? But let’s rule out another plugin:

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
