Unable to Update to 3.8.1

    Hi,

    Whensoever I try to update my wordpress version using the ‘Automatic Update’ tool it fails. No error appears. It says ‘Unpacking’ and then it halts there without any further message. When I refresh the browser, nothing happens.

    Please help.

    A few questions.

    What version are you on now?
    Have you been update using the Automatic Updater before?
    Do you have server access and know-how? May be a rights problem?
    Where are you hosted?
    Does updating manually work? via > /wp-admin/update-core.php and clicking on the blue button?
