Unable to update product_cat of existing products matching existing categories

    Hello,

    I imported products from a XML file as uncategorized, then I create a new import, I selected to match the hierarchy, I applied mapping and set “do not create new terms”.
    what I want to achieve is that a product that has this value in the field category[1] = Products > Washbasins using mapping to go and assign to “BATHROOM > Washbasins”.

    So, basically, if a product has a category hierarchy that maps to the one I have provided then to be assigned to the full hierarchy. If the mapping cannot be done, then to remain as uncategorized.

    As long as the unmapped categories don’t exist on the site, those records should be placed in the “Uncategorized” category since you’ve enabled “Do not create new terms”. Can you elaborate on what’s going wrong with the import?
