unable to update plugin

Hi i have a site, Which is cloud hosted on centos, i was trying to install ssl and ran the yum -update command as mentioned in the guide i was following, but after that the plugin update stopped working and whenever i navigate to the page it shows me this warning

i read somewhere it might be an issue with openssl my openssl version is openssl-libs.x86_64 1:1.0.2k-24.el7_9 . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
