    Hi,
    i’ve a problem to update an existing event to change “no physical location” a a phyiscal location.

    Used Software

    • Events Manager v5.5.2
    • Events Manager and WPML Compatibility v0.3
    • Events Manager Import Export v0.0.3-alpha

    the issue is not plugin related, because i’m able to reproduce it with(out) the plugins.

    Steps to reproduce

    1. Create a new Event with the checkbox checked “no physical location”
    2. Save the event
    3. Update the Event and add a location (with or without javascript) guided by the picker
    4. Save the event

    Description of Bug
    After saving the event, the location is not updated. the event is still marked as “no physical location”. if you use the page without javascript, there is also a message saying “location not found.

    I’ve not been able to reproduce this. Are you talking about the admin area or using a front-end submission form?

    Are you attempting to use an existing location, or create a new one when saving the event? Can you try both and report what happens?

    When trying to use an existing location, are you able to edit that location in Events > Locations?

    sorry am not getting this; did you modify any EM templates? also, maybe you can try EM dev version 5.5.2.1

    Hi, I got the same problem here. It works when creating a new event and asigning a location. But if you save once without and then try to set the location again, it keeps selecting no location after saving.

    Updated to dev version – didn’t help!

    @philipjohn: If it’s the same problem, why don’t use the thread about it. it’s common behavior for every bugtracker.

    Same behaviour here with current 5.5.3. Any idea what to look at?

    Could anybody from the support team say whether you are going to take a look at the issue somewhen soon? Or are we doomed to change to another plugin? I actually updated to the last version of both basic and pro but still getting it.

    @jwacalex This isn’t a bug tracker, it’s a forum so we need to follow the forums rules.

    @ldGrumpyDE & @karameloso No ETA on a fix for this at the moment but there’s an updated version of the plugin due soon.
