Unable to Update Event – JSON Response Error

    Hello [Support Team],

    I am experiencing an issue while updating an event on my WordPress site. Whenever I try to update an event, I receive the following error message:

    “Couldn’t Update Event! Reason: The response is not a valid JSON response.”

    Here are the details of my setup:

    • WordPress Version: 6.7.1
    • Event Plugin Name & Version: 4.0.20
    • PHP Version: 8.2.27
    • Theme: Sukun

    Steps I Have Tried:

    1. Resetting permalinks.
    2. Disabling all plugins except the event plugin.
    3. Switching to the default WordPress theme.
    4. Checking the debug log for errors.
    5. Ensuring the PHP version is up to date.

    Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this?

    We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you faced. This is not supposed to happen. If you check the console > network tab for any json formatting error i.e. https://prnt.sc/qQYtc_rCdGuG. It seems there is additional text coming that breaks the json formatting.
