    Hi,

    I have a product I am trying to save that is in a category that doesn’t sync with FB – a product part so not for resale. Woocommerce won’t let me save the product:

    “This product belongs to a category or tag that is excluded from the Facebook catalogue sync. It will not sync to Facebook.

    To sync this product to Facebook, click Go to Settings and remove the category or tag exclusion or click Cancel and update the product’s category / tag assignments.”

    I don’t want the product to sync but I want it in that category!

    Help please

    Thanks for reaching out!

    It sounds like the Include in Facebook sync setting may be enabled for this product – that notification is to let you know of a conflict between the category exclusion and the product settings. If you don’t want to sync this product, could you please go to the product in your WordPress admin, go to the Facebook tab, and disable the Include in Facebook sync setting? That should remove the message!

    Could you please let me know if that resolves the problem?

    OK, I have hunted high and low for this! Are you able to post a screen shot of where it is please?

    Sure thing! Click here to view a screenshot of the setting I’m referring to. You can find it by following the steps below:

    1. Go to Products and select the product in question.
    2. In the Product Data area, go to the Facebook tab.
    3. Disable the Include in Facebook sync setting.
    4. Click Update to save the changes.

    Could you please let me know if this helps you update that setting? Can I help out with anything else?

    I had to uninstall and reinstall the plug in but it’s now there

    I have found out what the problem is. When you select a product part then the Facebook option disappears. I’m just trying to find out whether it’s a problem with Woocommerce or another plug in I have
