• If I try to preview or update an existing post and sometimes pages I get this…

    The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Waterfox is permitted to access the Web.

    What I have noticed:

When I try to preview or update an existing post and sometimes page it is taking me to /wp-admin/post.php instead of the correct link.

    Things I have tried:

I have deactivated all plugins and still get the same thing.
I have tried using the 2013 theme with deactivated plugins and still get the same thing.
I updated WP from 3.6 to 3.6.1 again and still the same thing.
I have tested on multiple computers, browsers (I.E., Chrome, Firefox & Waterfox) and all of the user logins and the same thing happens.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Try contacting your host and asking about mass attacks or brute force attacks.

Alternatively, you can re-upload wp-includes folder from a fresh download of WordPress.
