Unable to unzip the archive file

  • Hi,

    I’m unable to open the archive file generated by simple static. I’ve tried with
    unzip and I got the following error message : 

    
Archive:  simply-static-1-1528561245.zip
  End-of-central-directory signature not found.  Either this file is not
  a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive.  In the
  latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
  the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip:  cannot find zipfile directory in one of simply-static-1-1528561245.zip or
        simply-static-1-1528561245.zip.zip, and cannot find simply-static-1-1528561245.zip.ZIP

    I’ve also tried with Xarchiver without any luck.

    Additional informations :

    Operating System : Debian 9
    Linux Kernel : 4.9.0-6-amd64
    Unzip version : 6.00
    Xarchiver: 0.5.4

    on debug – all green
    – ubuntu 16.04 LTS + all updates
    – php 7.0.30
    – curl 7.47.0

    WP 4.9.6
    Twenty Seventeen 1.6
    yoast 7.6.1
    ACF 5.7rc

    All TEMP files are valid.
    I can view them and everything works in temp.

    Delivery Method “Local Directory” same – works perfect.

    – – – –

    gzip is already the newest version (1.6-4ubuntu1).
    zip is already the newest version (3.0-11).
    tar is already the newest version (1.28-2.1ubuntu0.1)

    max_execution_time = 3000

    OK, I think I found.

    I used Faker to generate some dummy data.
    “too long slugs”

    had the same problem. zip files seem to come out corrupted. Can be fixed using a repair tool. Or just opt for downloading from a local directory instead.
