  • Hi @zmahmood,

If you’re not able to uninstall the plugin directly from your site’s /wp-admin area, I recommend attempting to remove it via FTP. You can find steps for removing a plugin via FTP here:

    https://kinsta.com/blog/uninstall-wordpress-plugin/#uninstall-wordpress-plugin-ftp

It may also be worth contacting your host directly if you need help accessing FTP and to double-check the permissions for the plugins folder.

    Hope that’s helpful!

I can uninstall and delete the plugin but its settings remain in the database. I want to completely remove it and reauthorized it with my facebook page.

    Hi @zmahmood

When the plugin has been configured previously, it will save a merchant_settings_id in your WooCommerce database so that you can re-open the setup at any time to show your previously selected options.

The quick workaround here is to reset the plugin back to a fresh install, removing the existing settings. You can do so by installing this plugin.

This will add a new tool available at WooCommerce > Status > Tools called “Reset Facebook for WooCommerce settings“. Please click the Reset Settings button here, and then navigate back to the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin settings screen to try connecting again!
