After updating to the latest 3 version YOAST, I can’t seem to find the text boxes to type in my SEO title and meta description.

Before there werea few tabs like seo, readability, extract, social and such but clicking any of them gives nothing. In short, there is no text box for me to fill the SEO title and the meta box like in the early versions.

    NOW SHOWS LIKE THIS:

We post several articles a day, and the only way it works is rolling back to an older version.

Please help us fix this, ive read several other users with the same problem

Nope, no solution yet. Only way is to roll back to and older version of the plugin.

    Hello @t23augusto & @nebulak32

I am sorry that you’re experiencing a blank meta box. This issue occurs due to a JavaScript conflict. We’d like you to perform a conflict check to help us determine the next steps while saving you time.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to respond. its appreciated.

We run the diagnostics, and no plugins error, or any error with compatibility shown.

I want to point out that the problem stated when we updated to 20.9, never again worked. But if we roll back to 20.8 works fine, with no setting or any change, works from the start.

Can you please help us? we really dont want to leave the use of Yoast, but if we cant fix this we will have to find another plugin ??

I’m sorry the issue has persisted for so long, @t23augusto. We released Yoast SEO 20.12 today, please update to see if there’s a difference.

If not, please provide us with the following:

    1. A screenshot of the browser console. You may follow the steps here – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/
    2. A screenshot of the network tab
    3. A copy of your site health report from WordPress > Tools > Site Health > Info (tab) > Copy site info to clipboard

I look forward to hearing from you.
