Unable to troubleshoot plugin

So the first step is to get them to download and show up on the Review List page. They have to be there in order for the plugin to display them on the front end. That place ID is correct because I was just able to download the reviews on my site. Try testing your API Key with this URL. Just replace the values with your values.

Looks like it works but again nothing is showing up in the review list section.

When you click the “Retrieve Reviews” what message are you getting in the pop-up?

Retrieving Google Business reviews for Place ID: ChIJoV_9yU6Vw4kR8EgPZKGA55U and saving them to your WordPress database…

The message sits there and doesn’t move nor does a new message appear. I have left it sit overnight in this state.

The modal was left open all night has not changed. Nothing has updated.

Sounds like a javascript error. Right-click on the page > inspect > look for the console window. Leave that window open and click the Retrieve Reviews button again. See if there are any error messages. Or any messages at all.

I did test that Place ID and it’s working fine for me. Try de-activating and re-activating the plugin. If that doesn’t work, then I’m afraid there isn’t much more I can do. You’ll need to check the server error logs to find out more information about the 500 error.
