Unable to show photos on the grid of featured content

Can someone help? Has anybody experienced the same issues? Thanks

Thanks WPyogi. Unfortunately that’s not the issue.
I have deactivated Jetpack now and I have tagged 2 imagine posts as featured. Take a look at

In few words:

– grid shows up (with or without Jetpack)
– titles show up
– pictures do not show up

Also, the theme has been set up properly. the only change I made was to switch from black to white color using the Fourteen Colors plug-in.

Do you have featured images set in those posts (not the same as featured tags)?

Your post is marked as an “Image” post and the image is in the post and not set as “Featured Image” hence why its not showing up in the grid.

Same for the second post. Try switching both posts to “Standard” post and add a featured image – bottom right of edit screen under Set featured image.

One more question: is it correct that featured posts (i.e. the first one on food and restaurants) disappear from the home page once they are tagged as “featured”?

Yes that is correct – posts that appear in the featured section (grid or slider) will not appear in the main blog feed. That’s how the theme is coded.

Hello – for some reason my post tagged as featured to appear in the grid is not appearing. It is set up as standard and has a featured image attached to it. Any idea why? All of my others have worked that are set up the same way.
