Unable To Share Posts To Facebook, LinkedIn, And Now I Can’t Connect To Jetpack

    I use Jetpack on https://www.polk.work and https://www.hillsborough.work. Over the past few days I’ve received an error on polk.work that there was an issue sharing posts to LinkedIn. On hillsborough.work I receive the same error when sharing to Facebook. Refreshing the connection didn’t help, so I decided to disconnect completely from Jetpack. Now when I try to reconnect I’m receiving “Error Details: The jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 404].” As far as I’m aware my hosting and plugins have not changed.

    UPDATE – I have found and corrected the problem. It had NOTHING to do with Jetpack. My anti-malware plugin had updated and blocked XMLRPC access by default. I should have checked that first but mistakenly assumed it would remain unchanged. Sorry!
