The grey & white background placeholder image remains, even after applying another image or a background color in Style > General Styles > Background Type. I have tried clearing to default, resetting background color preferences, and deactivated & reactive the plugin. Is there a setting somewhere I overlooked?

    Hello,

Could you please specify which widget you are experiencing an issue with? It would be great if you could attach a screenshot related to the issue so that we can assist you better.

    Thank you.

It was a coverflow carousel widget. I waited a few days for a response and then moved on to another plugin. I just checked the plugin again and tested creating the carousel again, but then it crashed my page. I had to deactivate the plugin to regain access to my page.

FYI, here is the error info from my webhost:

    Hello,

We appreciate your patience. Your issue has been solved by adding new controls to show and hide the background image. You can find the switcher at “content” and “style”.

Please, update the plugin to the latest version 11.0.0, and try again.

We will appreaciate your feedback on this matter.

    Regards,

    UAPP team

I tested the updated version and am able to set a background that is visible in Style > General Styles > Background Type. Setting and controlling the background in this panel is much more useful and intuitive. However, it might be helpful to note that when the background is set in the Content panel, it will override whatever is set in the Style panel. Having 2 places to insert a background, each with a show/hide button, may be confusing. It definitely does not make any sense to me why there it needs a background setting panel in 2 different locations. I recommend removing the background feature in the Content panel.

?? Well, nevermind what I mentioned above. I see now that the background applied in the Style panel will apply to ALL slides that do not have a background set in the Content panel. So, it’s still not very intuitive.

Could we get the same background styling option in the Content panel that are available in the Style panel? (Img resolution, Position, Attachment, Repeat, Display Size, etc)

Well, thanks for bringing it to our attention, we’ll try to figure out how to make it more intuitive, and will check your suggestion of adding more styling options to Content Panel. I will inform you, when we are done.

    Hello,

The plugin has been updated and the background styling options for the Content panel in Testimonials Carousel were added.

Please take a look at it and let us know your thoughts. Your feedback and rating on our plugin would be greatly appreciated.

That looks great! Thanks for responding to this an adding this feature. I haven’t tried or tested all the features of this plugin, but I can say that it the best slider I’ve worked in years.
